A to Z Outdoors ("the App") is a mobile application for iOS and Android that provides expert-curated outdoor gear checklists. This privacy policy explains how the App handles your information.
Data Collection
The App does not collect any personal information. Specifically:
- No account or sign-in is required
- No personal data is collected (name, email, phone, etc.)
- No usage analytics or tracking is implemented
- No cookies are used
- No advertising identifiers are collected
- No crash reporting data is transmitted
Data Storage
All data created within the App — including your checklists, trip details, and packing progress — is stored locally on your device only. This data is:
- Stored in a local SQLite database on your device
- Never uploaded to any server
- Never shared with any third party
- Deleted when you uninstall the App
Internet Access
The App is designed to work 100% offline. It does not require an internet connection to function and does not make any network requests during normal use. All 47+ activity checklists and gear data are bundled with the App at install time.
Third-Party Services
The App does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. There are no SDKs from Google Analytics, Firebase, Facebook, or any other third-party service embedded in the App.
Children's Privacy
The App does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13. The App is safe for use by people of all ages.
Changes to This Policy
If we make changes to this privacy policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Since the App does not collect any data, we do not anticipate significant changes to this policy.
